About Solène
Solène Maro is a Franco-Portuguese contemporary artist working primarily in acrylic. She discovered painting at seventeen and developed her technique through dedicated study of light, values and realistic portraiture.
Her training includes instruction with Virginie Nègre and an intensive workshop in Renaissance techniques in Florence. Her practice brings together academic discipline and a contemporary, expressive approach.
In 2026, she took part in the Salon de Verrières and the Salon des Jeunes Artistes Indépendants at the Grand Palais, Art Capital.
